About this property

  • Built in 1890, Glen Lodge occupies an enviable position in Maidenhead Riverside, concealed behind electric gates within a charming mature garden plot. Just a brief stroll away from River Thames amenities, train stations, cafes, and restaurants, this immaculately presented property underwent recent extensions by its current owners. The result is a blend of style and versatility, featuring two first-floor bedroom suites accessible via separate staircases.

The ground floor hosts a contemporary kitchen, a breakfast room adjacent to a separate dining area, and a welcoming hall leading to a spacious sitting room/sunroom with delightful garden views. Completing the ground floor are a master bedroom suite and a separate study.

Highlighting the exterior are secluded and private gardens, showcasing well-manicured lawns, formal and vibrant beds, and a spacious sun terrace ideal for outdoor entertaining. The property also includes a double garage and a summerhouse with power, enhancing the overall outdoor experience.

A fantastically versatile home in one of my favourite parts of Maidenhead close to the river.
