The Golf Club was founded in 1992 and was designed by Brian Williams, a prominent member of Grange Golf Club. The signature hole is found on the 3rd and features an island green similar to TPC Sawgrass' famed 17th hole. Water plays a major part in navigating your way around this 9 hole parkland course of 5594 yards length with a par 70.

To the west of the golf club are the Wicklow Mountains which provide relief from a lot of potential rainfall. Dublin City Centre is located 52 kilometres from the golf course which is only a 45 minute drive when taking the eleventh exit on the M11 onto the R774. Dublin Airport is very accessible via the M50 which is just a 45 minute drive. Kilcoole Golf Club is also well located in terms of amenities with many shops in the area and the towns of Bray and Greystones merely a 15-20 minute drive away from the golf course. The famous Druid's Glen Golf Course which is across the road, attracting many keen golfers into the area (as well as tourist attraction such as the Sugarloaf Mountain and Glendalough Monastery). The Golf Club is accessible via bus and train. The Newcastle Aerodrome is also only 5 kilometres away offering training and flying lessons at competitive rates.

The Golf Clubhouse

The purpose built clubhouse is a part two storey building.

The ground floor accommodation includes an entrance through a compact hall leading into the reception area.There is a secretaries office off receptiom area. A separate entrance hall leads to the ladies locker room and ladies WC's. The ladies locker room consists of 48 lockers and book and cloak room area. The ladies shower rooms are fully tiled with dressing area, 4 showers and footbath. The further side of the hall consists of a small entrance hall, a disabled WC, and men's WC with 2 toilets, 2 urinals and one wash basin. The men's main locker room is divided into two sections with 42 lockers. There are men's showers, 4 showers fully tiled. Both locker rooms men's and ladies are carpeted and have timber lockers and shoe rails.

First Floor

Stairway leads to large hall/lobby which consists of the gents toilets. This leads through to the bar area with timber floors and windows overlooking the former course. There are beamed ceilings and stairs leads up to the mezzanine floor with Velux windows and timber floor overlooking the bar area.

There is a commercial stainless steel fitted kitchen with sink unit and piped for gas. Door to back hall with wash room and door to inside the bar.

Bar area is large and spacious and bright and enjoys views over the course. There is a large function room off the bar area with timber floor and attractive beamed ceiling and large fire place. Doors open out to balcony outside.

Outside

Lands are all in grass and the distance from the clubhouse are the greenkeepers sheds. The land was formerly a golf course (9 holes) and has been closed since August 2016.
