Netherwood House is situated 1½ miles to the south of Dumfries, the largest conurbation of Dumfries and Galloway. Netherwood House is a wonderful Georgian property, situated in the centre of its mature gardens and grounds which extend to approximately 17.8 acres. The house, which is thought to date from the 1830s, is a magnificent example of Georgian architecture, benefiting from all the grace and elegance associated with properties of this era. The front façade is charming, with two symmetrical bow windows either side of the front door and pavilions at the north and south ends
