Set on 925 hectares / 2285 acres with a morphology of unique beauty, full of pastures and mountains, with lush Mediterranean vegetation, ideal for hunting and farming. On the El Matuloso Estate one can hunt for deer (ca 700), mouflon (ca 250), wild boar (ca 150) as well as for small game like rabbit, duck, hare, partridge, dove and pigeon.

The Cortijo was completely rebuilt and extended in 2001, and is an outstanding palace on the highest point in the middle of the Estate with unparalleled views of the surrounding Andalucían Sierra. The built area covers 3,000 square meters and comprises various sections linked to one another by Andalusian courtyards. Excluding the keepers and other staff lodgings there are 15 bedrooms with adjoining bathrooms, a dining hall, a game room with bar, a guest lounge, several covered terraces, a swimming pool with pool house, an extensive professional kitchen, utility room, laundry room and a wine cellar. All is fully equipped and furnished for over 30 guests.

Hunting and shootings on adjacent estates can also be organized. An approved 5 year hunting plan is available on request.
