The property has been updated, refurbished and extended by the present owner and offers elegant reception rooms with classic features of the period including period fireplaces, deep skirting boards, picture and dado rails, ceiling roses, radiator covers and brass touch plates. Other features include a Clive Christian Interiors master en suite, Neville Johnson fitted office furniture and a stylish extension providing a gym and adjoining shower room. Of particular note are the superb landscaped gardens and grounds which provide an attractive backdrop and enhance the far reaching southerly views. The total plot amounts to about 10.9 acres.
• A charming porch with glass panelled front door leads to the entrance vestibule with attractive encaustic tiling. From here a further door leads to the reception hall with a stone fireplace with wood burning stove.
• The principal reception rooms provide elegant areas for formal entertaining and all have reclaimed period fireplaces. There are delightful views over the gardens with the drawing room also having direct access to the garden via a door set in the bay window.

matching island unit. Appliances include a 4 oven oil fired Aga, Siemans hob, dishwasher and space for a fridge freezer. Oak flooring extends from the kitchen to the adjoining conservatory, also by Peter Edmondson, which has a wonderful outlook over the south facing gardens and double doors to the terrace. To the side of the conservatory is a snug and the whole area provides an ideal area for family living.
