The new Cornwall University with its landmark Tremough Campus is three miles away on the edge of Penryn whilst the Cathedral City of Truro provides the main business links for Cornwall and offers an excellent range of shopping, commercial and private/state schooling together with a mainline railway link to London Paddington. Newquay Airport offers daily flights to London with recent and ongoing improvements to the main A30 carriageway providing good links to the M5 motorway at Exeter.
