About this property

  • Hillside is an attractive and substantial village house which sits centrally within its plot in the highly regarded village of Naunton. The property offers beautifully presented and stylish accommodation with an emphasis on a neutral palette of contemporary colours and a sense of light throughout.

On the ground floor there is a stylish dual aspect open plan kitchen/breakfast room with an excellent range of cabinets, central island and space for a 12-seater dining table, a spacious sitting room with a wood burner and built in cabinets and a fabulous oak framed garden room with vaulted ceiling and views across the lovely wrap-around garden. Bedroom five is located on the ground floor with direct access to the garden. There is a home office which could also be used as a bedroom or additional reception room. Completing the ground floor is a shower room and well-appointed utility.

The principal bedroom is triple-aspect and has an en suite shower room. There are three further bedrooms, one of which is en suite, and a family bathroom.

The gardens surround the house and are mainly laid to mature lawn with specimen trees and a variety of shrubs. A paved terrace adjoins the garden room on three sides and is the perfect place for alfresco dining in front of the outdoor fireplace. In the front garden, enjoying fabulous village views, is a shaded area. There is a garage and parking for several cars.

A superb light and airy village home. My favourite room is the impressive garden room which leads to a large terrace with outdoor fireplace - very cool.
