    The area with a purple boundary on the farm sale plan is an old church ruin (Llanfihangel Abercowin Old Parish Church & Norman Grave-Slabs) owned by the Church in Wales that is also a Scheduled Ancient Monument.

    Scheduled Ancient Monuments
    There are three on the farm. The old church ruins mentioned above: (Llanfihangel Abercowin Old Parish Church & Norman Grave-Slabs), an old motte and bailey (Trefenty Mound and Bailey Castle) and finally a standing stone (the Trefenty Standing Stone).

    Method of Sale

    Tenure & Possession
    The tenure of the property is freehold with vacant possession upon completion.

    Overage

  • Trefenty Farm is set in an idyllic location overlooking the River Taf that meanders past the famous riverside village of Laugharne (of Dylan Thomas poet fame) and out to Carmarthen Bay. Despite its rural location it is convenient to local villages and towns with the popular small town of St Clears only about four miles away.
  • The larger shopping town of Carmarthen with railway station and connections to London Paddington is only about ten miles away. The A48 M4 link road at Carmarthen provides quick access to south Wales (Swansea about 37 miles, Cardiff about 79 miles) the Severn Bridge and into England (about 99 miles).
