Attractive residential development opportunity in prime Murrayfield location.
The C-Listed Lansdowne House, which was originally constructed in 1875 as a private dwelling, is primarily used as offices and teaching space for St George’s School. Since the school has occupied the site, several new buildings have been added, including Lansdowne Modern, which connects to the original stable building, and the Food Tech building. There is also a Lodge building next to the main gates. The primary vehicular and pedestrian site access is from Coltbridge Terrace, through the listed gate piers. There is additional pedestrian access to the Lodge and from Henderland Road. There is a row of mature trees along the south western boundary on Coltbridge Terrace along with further mature planting within the site. The total site area is approximately 2.2 acres and is surrounded by residential dwellings as well as Henderland Road Tennis Club to the west. The site is owned by St George’s School and is currently the Lower School Campus which is due to be relocated to the main school site for the 2025/26 school year.
