- Burwood Park is a lightly wooded private estate of approximately 350 residential houses. The estate is gated with access controlled at all but one of the entrances by electronic pass keys. The environment is controlled by covenants which stipulate that only one house can occupy a plot (usually between 0.33 to 0.75 of an acre), size of house that can be built and landscaping etc. These are enforced to maintain the quality of housing and feel of the estate, which is open with 'green' borders separating the houses.
