A substantial and elegant family home
Longcroft is a substantial yet elegant property dating back to the 1920's period. The house provides flexible and attractive accommodation over two levels and is complimented by a guest annexe situated within a courtyard arrangement. Internally the property features large proportioned rooms with generous ceiling heights together with elegant cornicing, moulded archways and leaded light windows. The current owners have created a good specification of finish and neutral feel complimented by plenty of natural light.
The ground floor features a formal reception hall with exposed wooden flooring and exposed brick fireplace. The two main reception rooms have protruding bay windows with leaded light details and handsome fireplaces. The garden room features full height glazed French windows with views to the gardens. The kitchen and breakfast room has a wealth of floor and wall mounted cupboards and views to the fore and over the courtyard area.
Bedrooms are situated on the ground floor and first floor with the master bedroom suite occupying a commanding position with balcony and Easterly views of the gardens.
Longcroft is accessed via automated wrought iron gates and long driveway. The gardens are mainly laid to lawn with mature tree species to it boundaries. A useful outbuilding including greenhouse and storage is situated to the North Eastern side of the plot. The courtyard area features a utility and pantry together with seating areas and the guest annexe with garaging. Development work may be possible subject to planning permission.

I love this house and it's grounds. As the house is surrounded by very generous gardens and fields on three sides, there is a complete sense of space here. The house is spacious and there's a wonderful annex which could act as a secondary accommodation as it currently is, or a games room and entertaining space onto the patio which is what I'd choose to use it for.
