An attractive and immaculately presented four bedroom bungalow, offering further potential and opportunities for upgrading, in the popular village of Bidborough

About this property

  • Available for the first time in over 35 years and immaculately presented throughout, this sizable four bedroom bungalow is situated in the sought-after village of Bidborough and offers potential to expand and update, benefitting from generous proportions, a large loft space and a much loved and well stocked garden.

Pre-Planning Application advice has been obtained from Tunbridge Wells Planning Department, which in principle looks to support various ideas over expansion and remodelling of the property, although we underline that no formal Planning Application has been made and no formal planning permission is in place. Further details are available from our office.

The current accommodation offers much flexibility, currently comprising a welcoming entrance hall with fitted cabinetry, opening to a sizeable and charming sitting/dining room, benefitting from a feature fireplace, a wide spanning window overlooking the front garden, and French doors opening to the rear.

The kitchen breakfast room, enjoying views of the much-loved gardens, is fitted with an abundance of storage cupboards, together with kitchen cabinetry offering plenty of storage and preparation space. Appliances include an integrated fridge, freezer, and electric oven, along with an induction hob. The integral garage can be accessed from the kitchen.

There are four bedrooms in total, in which the principal bedroom is of particular note, benefitting from an outlook to the garden, fitted wardrobes and an en-suite shower room. The remaining three bedrooms can be arranged to suit, currently used as a formal dining room, study, and spare room.

To the front, the driveway offers parking for multiple vehicles, with a level area of lawn and mature shrubs providing a good-level of screening from the road. The well-maintained garden to the rear is generous in size and boasts an area of level lawn, ideal for entertaining friends and family, and a wonderful range of mature shrubs and trees, including ballerina apple trees, gingko biloba, and mature oak and beech. There is a pathway leading behind a bank of rhododendrons, offering an enchanting area for young children to explore and enjoy. There is also a vegetable garden to the rear, together with useful brick and wooden storage sheds.

For me, this is a great opportunity because of the fine location in the village.
