    • Gibraltar Lane is a coveted location, a lovely country lane that runs parallel to the River Thames with a mix of mostly large attractive family homes. The lane is elevated from the riverside and is bordered by National Trust woodland.
    • Cookham Dean is a quaint village with two popular public houses, with Cookham Rise providing a range of shops for everyday needs.
    • The train station in Cookham Rise provides a shuttle service to Marlow in one direction and Maidenhead the other, connecting with the mainline for speedy access to London Paddington. Crossrail services (when launched) will be stopping at Maidenhead.

    • Directions: From Marlow town, head away from the High Street over the river and turn left into Quarry Wood Road, continuing along this road up the steep hill to the top of Winter Hill. Shortly after, take a sharp left into Gibraltar Lane. Quarry Cottage can be found half way along the road on the right hand side.
