An Ancient bluebell wood just outside the village of Nayland.
The wood comprises a compact parcel of private ancient woodland totaling 11.98 acres. A wooden gate at the entrance provides access with a well established path that continues in a loop around the wood giving easy movement around the wood. There are a large number of different tree species in the wood, including Oak, Ash, Field Maple, Silver Birch, Willow, Hazel and many more.
There are two main internal drains that run through the wood and have man made foot bridges over them, there is also a natural pond in the northern most corner. The wood is designated an Ancient Woodland and provides an attractive block of mainly mature oak. In the season the woodland floor is a feast of wild bluebells and provides a wonderful opportunity to purchase a block of wood for private enjoyment.
