About this property

  • Norse Lodge is a charming three bedroom bungalow with conservatory set in 0.69 acres in the beautiful hamlet of Portincaple on the banks of Loch Long, surrounded by the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park on three sides.

The accommodation begins with access through a handy utility space with the well equipped, fitted kitchen beyond. Entering into the hall, the eye is immediately drawn to the breathtaking views. The flow of the property naturally leads towards the back of the house, to take advantage of the open aspects across the water.

The spacious living room centres around a cosy fireplace, with additional space for a dining area. From here there are double doors opening onto a raised timber deck which can also be accessed from the adjacent home office. The conservatory sits at the rear of the property and offers a peaceful indoor space from which to appreciate the incredibly scenic position.

There are three double bedrooms – one with an en suite shower room – and a family bathroom with separate shower.

The property also benefits from extensive cellar space spanning the entire footprint of the house.

The gardens are extensive with many well placed seating areas, mainly laid to lawn but with access down the hill and out onto the beach below. There is an additional shed that is perfect for housing garden machinery or water sports equipment.
