    • Montauroux is a small perched village located in the east of the Var department, surrounded by vast forests.
    • Its elevated position ensuires you enjoy the picturesque atmosphere of a small Provencal village and the magnificent landscapes of the Pays de Fayence.
    • To the north of the village there are beautiful walks in the three valleys of the Haute-Siagne. The river Siagne and its tributaries run through a protected area with a rich biodiversity, lush and wild vegetation.
    • Walking through the village, you will come across many small fountains that cheerfully refresh the narrow streets and small squares of the village.
    • You will pass the town hall with its beautiful facade and bell tower, then the church of St Barthélemy, and last but not least you will discover the Chapel of St Barthélémy in the historic heart of the village.
    • It was the fashion designer Christian Dior who bequeathed it to the commune. It is listed as a historical monument for the painted wooden panels that line the interior walls and its barrel vault.
