The property is situated approximately 9 miles from Gloucester, 5 miles from Cheltenham and less than 3 miles from the M5. The village of Witcombe (at the foot of the hill) has a shop, restaurant, and Church, and the village of Birdlip (2 miles away) has a pub and Primary School, rated Outstanding. Just above the property, and adjoining the grounds, lies the Crickley Hill Country Park, owned by the National Trust.
