About this property

  • The West Chase Estate was originally part of The Wilton Estate prior to 1919. The estate comprises a handsome principal house with Georgian origins positioned centrally within its land, a wonderful walled garden and tennis court, an attractive courtyard, a secondary house, five estate cottages, equestrian facilities, a range of agricultural buildings and some 600 acres of land, much of which is productive arable land. Together, these elements form one of the best compact estates to come to the market in the region for many years. The estate completely surrounds the main house with a 1 1/2 mile drive from north to south. It is wonderfully rolling countryside, typical of this area, and creates an incredible setting, as well as an excellent shoot. It is thought to have only changed hands twice in nearly one hundred years.
