About this property

  • The property is an impressive detached four or five bedroom house in immaculate condition with beautiful landscaped gardens to front and rear. The front entrance opens in to a large entrance hall with stairs to first floor, door to kitchen/dining room and door to coats/boot room off which is the ground floor wc.

The modern kitchen includes a Fisher and Paykel American style fridge, Bosch four ring hob, Miele dishwasher and AEG one and half oven. It has an abundance of kitchen cupboards, drawers and worktop space along with a breakfast bar with seating for four that separates the kitchen from the dining room. Off the dining room are French doors leading through to the very impressive main reception room with picture windows and French doors leading out to the garden terrace and garden beyond.

On the ground floor are also the second reception/hobbies room, laundry/utility room, access to garden and garage and guest bedroom. The guest bedroom has French doors out to the garden terrace, built-in wardrobes and ensuite shower room with large shower, built-in vanity unit and heated towel rail. The second reception room is currently split into two separate areas of second sitting room and hobbies room with study/office cupboard. This has been divided by removable wooden panelling so could easily be opened back up into one open plan room or, if required, divided into further bedrooms (subject to the necessary permissions).

On the first floor are the principal bedroom suite, a further two double bedrooms and family bathroom. The family bathroom has a walk-in shower, separate bath, heated towel rail and built-in storage. Bedroom one is a good size overlooking the rear garden with French doors and Juliet balcony and eaves storage/wardrobe. Bedroom two is also a double with walk-in wardrobe and is currently used as a hobbies/study room. The principal bedroom suite is open plan but split into two distinct area of bedroom and sitting room with French doors out to the large balcony with sea views through the trees, down over the garden and across to St. Marys gardens and Gyllyngvase beach. There is plenty of both built-in and eaves storage and an ensuite shower room with large shower, built-in vanity unit with sink and wc and heated towel rail.

    Outside
To the front of the property is the block paved drive that leads to the double garage with parking for two or three cars. Both the front and rear gardens are a particular feature of this property and have been designed and landscaped by the current vendors creating a beautiful and private space to enjoy all year round. The front garden follows a Mediterranean theme with stunning effect with a central lawn surround by mature planting and steps down to the drive that leads round to a private west facing terrace adjacent to the house. Either side of the house are gates leading to the rear garden which has also been beautifully landscaped with a variety of trees and shrubs, an area of wild garden and lawn before taking the curved steps up to the main terrace. The terrace runs the width of the house with plenty of space for entertaining or just to sit and enjoy the garden. In the rear garden is also a summer house/garden shed with power and water. The building has been split into two separate areas with the summer house at the front with French doors leading out to the garden and at the rear, with separate access, is the garden store.
