A prime parcel of green belt land with a fascinating story. On offer is about 15 acres of land and situated 1.1 of a mile from Loughton High Road.
Goldings Farm has an intriguing history. Formerly the site of a dairy farm (hence its name) which supplied milk to the Loughton area throughout both of the World Wars.
Historic photos of the buildings (understood to have been taken in the 1960's) and ordinance survey maps depict where the farm buildings were situated on the site.
The site at the moment is overgrown and many of the trees are suffering from die back. We would recommend any serious buyer have an arborist survey to determine the extent of the sites protected trees.
There are no active planning applications for this site and any interested party would need to be aware the plots sits within green belt.
The previous owner bought this plot in 2000 for purely recreational use with designs to create a conservation site including ponds, grassland, woodland, native hedgerows and a pedestrian route around the plot to take in what would have been a stunning setting full of nature and wildlife. I am excited to see what the plot has in store for its new owner.
