Chalet la Drance built-in 2004, is a modern yet traditional alpine chalet located in a beautiful area of Morzine. It sits at the end of a charming historic lane next to the river Dranse, with views looking onto the old church. It is just a couple of minutes' walk from bars, restaurants and shops with the free ski bus a stone's throw away.

The chalet has been transformed in the last two years, adding an extra bedroom with a family ensuite, a boot room, and a second sitting area on the lower floor – perfect for kids to get away from the adults! However, the best feature has to be the terrace above the extension, with its stunning views across the river and to the wooded mountains beyond – and of course, the hot tub!

The entrance is on the ground floor with a separate entrance to the boot room. This floor has 2 bedrooms, the master family ensuite room with a bath and a further ensuite bedroom. There is a second sitting area and utility room.

Stairs lead up to the main living area, which has an open plan living/dining area with a fireplace, plus a spacious kitchen. Three sides of the chalet have large windows that let in plenty of light.
French doors open out onto the fabulous terrace which shows off the lovely views of Morzine's old town, the stone bridge and the beautiful Sainte Marie Madeleine church build in 1805.

The upper floor has 3 bedrooms. One of the bedrooms is ensuite and includes a bath. This bedroom has patio doors to the balcony. The balcony on the upper floor also benefits from the same beautiful views as the living area. Bedrooms 2 and 3 are both well-sized double and share a shower room. There is plenty of storage space in all bedrooms.

This chalet is in a copropriété as it is semi-detached. The second chalet sits behind this property.
