A superb, recently renovated two bedroom period cottage in the picturesque village of Gilling East

About this property

  • A charming two bedroom, stone built cottage situated on a quiet road in the beautiful North Yorkshire village of Gilling East. Set back from the road, the property has a gravelled driveway and pretty lawned gardens to the front and rear.

This period property has recently undergone a programme of extension and improvement including the incorporation of a stone outbuilding to create a modern kitchen-dining room with French doors opening to the rear garden. The bright, contemporary kitchen has plenty of cupboard space and features a boiling water tap.

Just off from the kitchen is a wonderful garden room which is ideal for entertaining guests.

Continuing through the ground floor the principal bedroom has a newly fitted en suite shower room and built-in cupboard. There is a separate house bathroom with shower over the bath.

To the front of the property there is a lounge room with log burning stove and views across the front garden. Leading on from the lounge room is a useful study with stairs leading up to bedroom two on the first floor, a bright room which benefits from two Velux windows and a window overlooking the front garden.
