I have always thought Alcyone is one of the prettiest houses in Dartmouth but I never knew it had a double garage and parking as well!

  • Alcyone and The Holt, although within one property can both be approached off different roads, namely Warfleet and Swannaton Road. Warfleet is a quiet and picturesque creek just half a mile from the town centre and Swannaton Road is a single track lane that heads uphill away from the river. Both Alcyone and The Holt offer stunning water views and nearby gorgeous walks to Dartmouth Castle or Dyer's Hill and Gallants Bower, both National Trust owned woods. The fairly level walk into town, results in an eclectic mix of shops, boutiques, galleries, pubs and restaurants and is home to the Britannia Royal Naval College. The town's deep-water port attracts sailing vessels from all over the world and is considered to be one of the prettiest in Europe. Dartmouth lies within the South Hams and the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The nearby town of Totnes (15 miles) offers a main line rail link to London Paddington (under 3 hours) and the A38 (15 miles) provides access to the cities of Plymouth and Exeter and the M5 beyond.
