    About this property

    • Burford Grange is a fantastic family home. Being mid-20th Century and latterly extended, it provides flexible and very well balanced accommodation including six bedroom suites together with two or three reception rooms. The property has been the subject of a major refurbishment by the current owner and oak floorboards have been included in the reception hall and sitting room. The kitchen/breakfast room is superb, with a comprehensive range of bespoke built American maple wall and floor units with composite worktops and maple island dining top. A full range of Miele appliances includes two conventional ovens, induction hob, microwave, steam oven and dishwasher. Adjoining the kitchen/breakfast room is a wonderful vaulted library/dining room with oak floor and American maple shelving, with a glass wall at one end separating the master bedroom suite. All bedrooms have en suite bath and/or shower rooms, and the quality and presentation throughout is excellent. Adjacent to the utility room is the ground floor bedroom and bathroom which could be used as a guest bedroom or staff accommodation.

Burford Grange is approached up a discreet private driveway to electric entrance gates (with entry phone) opening to a substantial gravelled parking and turning area in front of and beside the house. The gardens are gently sloping lawn rising from a wide entertaining terrace along the back of the house. A lovely heated swimming pool with electric safety cover together with pool house and heat exchanger provides a great amenity. The balance of the gardens are lightly wooded and appear well screened on all boundaries.

Overall the plot is just over an acre, providing a wonderful mix of lawns, borders and small woodland. Being south-west facing to the rear, making the most of the sunlight.
