    • The gorgeous beaches on the ionian coast are easily reached in just 25 minutes .San Pietro In Bevagna is known for its crystal-clear waters , 4 km of sandy beaches and is a popular spot for scuba diving enthusiasts. Punta Cacata is a protected nature reserve and is home to several endangered species, including loggerhead sea turtles. Punto Prosciuto further to the south is not to be missed, with 32 km of sandy beaches and shallow water, perfect for families.

There is a train station at Brindisi, and it is possible to take the train from Brindisi to Oria, journey time 30 minutes.
