    About this property

    • 16 Freelands Way is a stylish and immaculately presented five bedroom detached house, part of an exclusive CALA development in the semi-rural area of Ratho. The property is finished to a high standard throughout and offers the very best in family living, with fantastic entertaining spaces.

The house extends to approximately 2,600 sq. ft. over two floors. There are two reception rooms off the hallway - a sitting room to the front and a family room with dining area which opens into the kitchen. This is the heart of the home and is ideal for family living. The kitchen is contemporary and is fully integrated with appliances. There is a breakfasting area and a utility room off the kitchen. Patio doors open onto an area of decking overlooking the garden. There is a downstairs WC and two large cupboards in the hall.

There are five double bedrooms on the first floor level. The master bedroom has a Juliette balcony and en suite shower room with twin sinks. The second double bedroom is also en suite. The three further bedrooms share a large family bathroom, which has a shower unit and bath. All of the bedrooms have fitted wardrobes.

There is an integrated double garage, with access to the utility room, private driveway and an area of lawn to the front. The rear garden is mainly laid to lawn and fully enclosed, ideal for families with young children. There is room for a table at chairs on both the decking and patio area.

I love the location - it offers the best of semi-rural living, with both the open countryside and Edinburgh city centre on the doorstep. The local pub, The Bridge Inn, also comes highly recommended!
