About this property

  • Sitting in the heart of the popular village of Puttenham, 146 The Street is a beautiful three bedroom period house dating from the 1800s. The property has retained many of its character features whilst being extremely well maintained by the current owner.

The ground floor of the cottage comprises of a generous sized sitting room with characterful beams, a large brick fireplace with a wood burning stove and bespoke built-in shelving. The adjoining dining room leads to a well appointed kitchen with French doors opening on to the garden.

Three bedrooms can be found on the first floor serviced by a family bathroom.

Outside, a rear stone terrace is immediately accessed from the back of the house with steps up to the garden. A decked seating area can be found at the end of the garden enjoying views across the neighbouring hop fields.

The photographs were taken in late September 2020.

This beautiful cottage is in one of my favourite villages in Surrey. Gorgeous views over the surrounding hop fields and yet only a short drive from Guildford.
