  • Fifield House is situated in the delightful Thameside village of South Stoke which is surrounded by fields and riverside walking. The well known public house/restaurant, The Perch and Pike is within a short walk and there are further riverside restaurants in the neighbouring villages. There is a village primary school and the 12th century church of St Andrew. Further amenities are available in nearby Goring-on-Thames. More extensive facilities can be found in the market town of Wallingford and in Henley or Reading. Goring station has a frequent mainline train service to London Paddington via Reading (from 28 minutes). Central London (about 50 miles), the M4, M25 and Heathrow are easily accessible via the M4 (Jj12) approximately 11 miles. distance.
