About this property

  • Birch Cottage is a pretty detached cottage constructed from Cotswold stone beneath a slate roof, situated in the heart of Blockley. The property offers versatile accommodation set out over three floors and retains some lovely period features. There are superb views from most of the rooms and the rear garden.

The property is entered via a welcoming entrance hall with flagstone floor and wood burning stove. The double aspect sitting room has an open fireplace. The mezzanine kitchen/breakfast room has double doors leading to the rear terrace and garden and is fitted with an excellent range of units with integrated appliances. The master bedroom benefits from an en suite bathroom. There are two further bedrooms, a family bathroom and store room.

The enclosed low maintenance front garden has well stocked beds. The rear charming garden has a sun terrace and lawned area, well stocked borders and a summerhouse. The rear garden is perfect for al fresco dining and affords lovely rural views. A side gate leads to the front of the property.

Birch Cottage is such a pretty property with amazing views over one of my favourite villages. Blockley has a thriving community spirit and is highly regarded.
