About this property

  • Situated in the picturesque North Yorkshire Moors, this beautifully presented family home offers the perfect balance for families looking for countryside living whilst also being in easy reach of busier towns.

Hamley House features wonderful countryside views and the peace and quiet expected of the countryside lifestyle.

The home is surrounded by wonderfully maintained lawned gardens and hedgerows including an orchard, creating the perfect environment for enjoying the best of summertime outdoors, whether it's tending to the garden or bedding plants in the greenhouses, or enjoying entertainment with friends in the grounds. The small paddock gives the opportunity for those with equestrian interests to keep horses or ponies.

The house itself has been thoughtfully extended to create versatile living space, spanning more than 2800 square feet.
The ground floor accommodation comprises of a large hallway, leading on to the homes spacious dining area, complete with beautifully maintained timber features and log burner, alongside the well proportioned family room with south facing window, allowing natural light to illuminate the home throughout the course of the day.

A large, well equipped kitchen / breakfast room with independent outdoor access sits at the centre of ground floor accommodation.

One of the real stand-out features comes in the form of a large sitting room, complete with French doors overlooking the homes garden. The room has been beautifully created in-keeping with the theme of the house with the timber frames a real talking point.

The ground floor accommodation is finished with a fully equipped utility room with independent access, leading on to a WC and the homes office/ study, a must have with the transition towards working from home or the self employed with the need for office space.

To the first floor, the home has four well proportioned bedrooms, three of which, including the principal bedroom have the benefit of south facing views of the countryside beyond. The fourth bedroom offers ample storage and dual sky lights creating a naturally bright space.

There are two family bathrooms, each complete with both bath and shower facilities completing the first floor accommodation.

This wonderful family home also has the additional benefit of garaging and outbuildings, which were formerly stables and which are currently equipped for use as storage and a studio though the versatility of the space means it would lend itself to many uses.
