    About this property

    • 5 Tarriebank Gardens is a most attractive and well presented modern house, which was built in 2007. It was built by Fotheringham Property Developments, who are known for building high quality homes. It is one of a group of eight similar houses, but is situated on the far edge with views over the countryside. It has been built to a traditional design, with a harled and Fyfestone finish and a slate roof. It is fully double glazed and internally it is extremely well presented, and has cornices throughout the ground floor and on the first floor landing, together with panelled doors and oak fittings. At ground floor level is an impressive reception hallway and off this are two good reception rooms, together with a dining kitchen. There is also a useful utility room, which links through to the integral garage, and a WC. Upstairs are four bedrooms, two of which are en suite, and a family bathroom.

Surrounding the house is a well laid out and easily maintained garden. This is enclosed by beech hedging and fencing. It is principally laid to lawn and assorted tree plantings. There is a paved patio and seating area which links to both the living room and dining kitchen.

A block paved driveway leads to the front of the house with ample parking. From here a covered entrance leads to a partially glazed wooden front door which opens to an entrance vestibule with a hanging and shelved cloak cupboard, tiled floor and an inner door to the reception hallway. This again has a tiled floor, together with a staircase to the first floor and a walk in understair cupboard. The sitting room is a lovely double aspect room with oak flooring and a Danish Hwam wood burning stove. Opposite is the living room which also overlooks the garden and has a French door and oak flooring. The fully fitted dining kitchen has wall and floor units with wooden worktops, glass and tiled splashbacks, double sink, Blomberg dishwasher, five ring De Dietrich induction hob with extractor and De Dietrich double oven/grill. In addition there is a central island unit with stainless steel work surface and a tiled floor. There is also ample space for dining and French doors to the garden. Off the kitchen is the utility room, again with a tiled floor and with fitted units with sink and plumbing for a washing machine, and which links through to the integral garage. Also off the reception hallway is a partially tiled WC with washbasin.

The staircase with wooden banisters and handrail leads up to the first floor landing. This has oak flooring, two shelved cupboards and a hatch to a partially floored roof space. Bedroom one is a double aspect room with a built in wardrobe. The bathroom is partially tiled and has a freestanding bath, washbasin and WC. Bedroom two has a built in wardrobe and a partially tiled en suite shower room with washbasin and WC. Bedroom three is currently used as a study and has a built in wardrobe. The master bedroom is another double aspect room with two built in wardrobes, oak flooring and a partially tiled en suite shower room with washbasin and WC.

The integral double garage has an automatic up and over door, concrete floor and houses a Warmflow boiler.
