A well appointed cottage on the edge of the lovely village of Stinchcombe

About this property

  • 1 Piers Court Cottage is a well-appointed, four bedroom, semi-detached family home on the edge of the popular village of Stinchcombe. Having been sympathetically extended and modernized to complement its original character, the property offers flexible and well-proportioned accommodation over two floors. The ground floor comprises two receptions rooms, which include a spacious and light sitting room with attractive, open fireplace and double doors overlooking the garden, a good sized dining room, also featuring an open fireplace with traditional surround. On entering through the front door into the porch, there is good space for coats and boots, continuing down the hall to the modern fitted kitchen with wall and floor units with integrated appliances including a fridge/freezer and dishwasher. French doors lead to the rear garden. Off the kitchen is the utility room with a door leading to the rear garden. A downstairs cloakroom leading from the hall also. On the first floor are three generous double bedrooms, a single bedroom and a modern family shower room with Mira electric shower. The master bedroom benefits from having an en suite with Carronite bath and Mira mixer shower with “deluge” head & separate hand shower. Externally, the good sized garden surrounds the house with an area providing generous off road parking for several cars. The gardens are mainly laid to lawn and offer potential for the new buyer to make their mark. The property also benefits from the neighboring Piers Court Arboretum which has an amazing array of trees that can be seen from both the house and garden.
