  • Rotherwick is a pretty rural hamlet set in unspoilt Hampshire
  • countryside. Within the village there is a 13th Century church, 2 public houses, a village hall and a primary school. Day to day facilities are available in the nearby villages of Hartley Wintney and Hook with a more extensive range of shopping and recreational facilities available in Basingstoke and Reading.

There are mainline stations at Winchfield (49 minutes) and Hook (from 53 minutes) and both serve Waterloo, whilst Reading Station (27 minutes) serves Paddington.   • Directions: From Farnham town centre proceed north up Castle Street (which becomes Folly Hill) on the A287. At the traffic lights, filter left onto the Odiham Road and head towards Odiham and the M3 for approximately 7 miles. Proceed over the M3 (Junc 5) and take the 3rd exit on to the B3349 (Griffin Way). Continue for approximately 2.25 miles (going straight ahead at the roundabout with the A30) and turn left onto Hook Road signed Rotherwick. After 0.5 mile, turn left onto The Street and Rose Cottage will be found on your right hand side, after a short distance. From M4 take Junction 11 south towards Basingstoke. At the end of the dual carriageway (approx. 4 miles) continue on for a further mile and turn left opposite the Wellington Monument. At the roundabout turn right onto the B3349 towards Hook. Continue for approximately 3 miles and turn right onto Cowfold Lane (signed Rotherwick). At the crossroads, proceed straight over and Rose Cottage will be found after a short distance on your right hand side.
