Moats Tye is a pretty and ancient settlement with a 15th century church in the neighbouring village of Combs. There is a cricket ground a short walk from the house and the Battisford Punch Bowl is a popular community village pub in a neighbouring village (2.3 miles). Stowmarket (3.2 miles, drive; 2 mile walk) is a vibrant market town with an array of amenities, including a gym, tennis club and golf club.
