    • Colares is an ancient village with an interesting past. Located at the bottom of the north-west slope of the mountain, overlooks a fertile green valley with the ocean in the background, and 5.5 kms to the south-west from the Cabo da Roca.
    • 10 km away from Sintra, and 39km from the Lisbon Airport by the A16 highway. The reverse direction on the A16 leads to the village of Cascais at a distance of 18 km, where the nearest seaport is located: Marina de Cascais. The best way to reach directly to the center of Lisbon is the route IC19, that offers several other alternatives depending on the final destination.
    • A suburban railway line is also available in the town center of Sintra, where the terminal station is located, for a journey of 33 minutes to the capital.
