    About this property

    • 6 Wallace Square is a deceptively spacious home and although it was only constructed in 2015, the property has a real feeling of period charm. An open porch leads on to the main hallway, with access to the principal ground floor rooms. The kitchen / dining room is beautifully appointed with a range of fitted units, integrated appliances, space for a dining table and a desk / study area. Double doors open onto the sitting room, with solid oak flooring, feature fireplace and French doors opening out on to the rear garden.

The first floor accommodation comprises 4 bedrooms, one of which is en-suite, and an additional family bathroom. There is a generous fifth bedroom on the second floor which could also be used for a variety of other purposes, such as an office space or second sitting room.

Externally, the gardens are quite delightful, with various areas of interest including a patio, lawned areas, well stocked beds and ornamental trees. To the rear of the garden is a driveway and detached garage.

Wallace Square is, in my opinion, quite simply one of the finest contemporary developments in the area.

Nestled in the lee of the south downs, and surrounded on one side by the grounds of Seaford College and on the other by the Lavington Stud, the properties all face inwards over an open village green – creating a real feeling of community.
    • Just four miles away at Petworth there is a good selection of local shops for daily needs, restaurants, speciality shops, pubs and the numerous antique dealers for which the town is well known. There are further shops and restaurants nine miles away in Midhurst. At Pulborough there are two major supermarkets and a main line station offering a regular service to Gatwick Airport and London Victoria. Haslemere station provides a frequent service to London Waterloo taking from 49 minutes.
    • To the south, the major centres of Arundel and Chichester offer between them a full range of shopping, leisure and cultural amenities such as the Festival Theatre and the Pallant House Gallery. Road communications are good with the main A285 and A283 trunk routes providing the north-south link for London, the M25 and the coast. There is a choice of good schools within reach, including Seaford College, Dorset House, Great Ballard, Westbourne House, Charterhouse, Churchers and Bedales. The many recreational opportunities include golf at a number of clubs in the area, polo at Cowdray Park, racing and flying at Goodwood, gliding at Storrington and sailing at Chichester.
    • The area benefits from a network of footpaths, including the South Downs Way, as well as bridleways, which would make riding from the house a possibility.
