  • Uploders is a particularly pretty West Dorset village to the north east of Bridport. The village is large enough to thrive and has the Crown Inn. Nearby Loders, has the Loders Arms. Other villages of note in the area include Askerswell, Powerstock, Burton Bradstock, West Bay and Litton Cheney.
  • Bridport has a superb variety of shopping, educational and recreational amenities as well as a Literary Festival and a twice weekly market. The larger centres of Dorchester, the county town and the seaside resort of Weymouth also provide an excellent variety of facilities.
