Kintsugi is a stunning Edwardian family residence which has been beautifully restored and updated to provide elegant and comfortable accommodation meeting all the needs of the 21st Century. Contemporary designer sanitary ware is fitted to all the bathrooms, Chesney Fireplaces in the reception rooms and under floor heating in the bespoke kitchen and ancillary rooms.

The principal rooms are beautifully proportioned and are as well suited to families as for entertaining whilst the wonderful living dining kitchen opens into an orangery living room area and has access to both the adjoining sitting room and the deep, full width south facing rear terrace.

A particular feature of this impressive home are the three two storey bays to the rear, these provide lovely southerly views over the formal gardens and flood the principal rooms with natural light. A working fireplace in the reception hall with its elegant period staircase ensures a warm welcome.

The living dining kitchen is perfect for day to day family living and has an AGA, integrated appliances, quartz surfaces, even a Quooker. There is also a good sized butler's pantry. The kitchen extends into the air conditioned orangery with a large lantern roof and 8 panel bi-fold doors open to the sunny rear terrace and veranda, ideal for al fresco entertaining in the summer months.

The first floor was originally arranged as five bedrooms although our clients have created an indulgent principal suite which includes a spacious dressing and sitting room as well as the beautifully appointed en-suite bathroom in Travertine marble. There are three further double bedrooms, a good sized house bathroom, en suite to the guest bedroom. A staircase leads up to a second floor bedroom suite with a sitting/dressing room and its own well-appointed bathroom with a separate bath and shower, again with contemporary designer sanitary ware.

The leisure area is reached by a long corridor from the living kitchen which passes the ancillary rooms including a laundry room, boot room and a second cloakroom. There is internal access to the adjoining larger double garage with glazed panels to see the cars within. The leisure area includes a hall with a door to the gardens, a changing room and the plant room whilst double doors open to the games room and gym. A door provides internal access to the double car port.

The recently upgraded swimming pool area has plenty of space for lounging and entertaining and four sets of triple panel bifold doors open to the south facing rear terrace, great for pool parties in the summer.

The gardens are exceptional with more formal and informal areas, woodland and a delightful summer house. The grounds include a wide stone terrace with a covered area, a pond with a gently sloping 'beach' and a productive cut flower garden with a greenhouse. A Japanese Tea House features, with a wood burning stove. A timber cabin and equipment garage lies to the rear of the gardens.

Kintsugi stands behind impressive gate posts with beautiful bespoke automatic gates leading to a wide and deep parking and turning area extending to the garaging and a double car port.
