Approximately 1,324 meters of high quality single bank fishing on The River Exe.
The Exe rises in the middle of Exmoor and from there meanders down through Exford and a number of other well known villages before meeting the Barle just above Exebridge. From here it continues down through much of Devon and out to sea at Exmouth and is well known as being one of, if not the best West Country salmon rivers as well as holding a good stock of natural brown and sea trout as well as other game fish including grayling and rainbow trout.
The fishing rights offer the market a rare opportunity to acquire an exciting stretch of single bank fishing along part of the highly sought after Exe. Whilst this particular stretch has not been fished in recent years and is in need of some clearance work, the sellers have indicated that large numbers of salmon have been caught in the past ranging from 5lb to 15lb as well as significant numbers of brown and sea trout.
The Rights run downstream on the western side of the river from an area just north of the Iron Bridge which connects to the A396.
