The perfect country retreat on the edge of a national park only 35 minutes from the coast.
This is the Andalusian countryside at its idyllic best. A perfect country retreat on the edge of the Alcornocales National Park famous for its magnificent cork oak forests and abundant wild life.
The pretty farmhouse has 6 bedrooms all with bathrooms (of which 5 have independent access) plus office which overlook the swimming pool. The majority of living space is on one floor with one bedroom suite upstairs.
There is a total of 140m2 of uncovered and covered terrace areas in addition to the garden which has a fantastic collection of fruit trees.
The access road has been tarmacked and there is a double car port plus plenty more parking in the grounds.
There are 3 hectares of pasture which are ideal for planting, grazing or just to enjoy by leaving it wild. The land is easily accessible by foot including the highest point which looks over the national park and the charming town of San Pablo de Buceite which is between the white villages of Jimena de la Frontera and Gaucin.
Although set on its own, the house is fifteen minutes walk away from San Pablo de Buceite and ten minutes drive from Jimena de la Frontera, itself 35 minutes from the Mediterranean coast. Orange groves and avocado farms are abundant in the area and the views are quite splendid. A short walk away is the Guadiaro river making the perfect area for country walks throughout the year.
