  • Fen Ditton is one of Cambridge's closest ‘necklace' villages running along the river Cam and has two well regarded pubs and restaurants – The Ancient Shepherds and The Plough, the latter having a large riverside beer garden and lawn. There is also a dedicated cycle path along the river from the village into the centre of Cambridge.
  • There are everyday shopping facilities including a general store, GP surgery and butchers and there is also a primary school on Horningsea Road which is the feeder school to Bottisham Village College.
