Location and Amenities
County Meath has a proud sporting history and can offer a huge array of quality sporting and recreational activities for even the most active of lifestyles. The golf enthusiast could not be better catered for with the famous Jack Nicklaus designed Killeen Castle and Golf Club not too far a distance from the property (10 minutes driving time) and other nearby courses include the Royal Tara Golf Club, Black Bush Golf Club near Fairyhouse and Carton House is only 25 minutes driving time away and was home to the 2013 Irish Open.

Race-goers are well catered for with Navan Racecourse and Fairyhouse Race Course nearby. Both of these courses are very well renowned and host a multitude of events throughout the year.

The Meath and Tara Hunts meet in the area and there are several other packs within easy boxing distance. There are driven shoots at Slane and Mountainstown and fishing on the local rivers Boyne and Blackwater.

Dublin Airport is a short distance from Cedarwood Lodge with driving time approx. 40 minutes. The larger towns of Trim, Kilcock and Enfield are also only a 10 to 15 minute drive away. Dun Laoghaire harbour is only a mere 35 minutes also.
