    About this property

    • Immaculately presented and with an emphasis on quality, Viewlands is a generous detached home occupying an elevated position enjoying wonderful views across the village. Bright and spacious throughout, Viewlands offers many modern home comforts and there is a high finish throughout with underfloor heating, marble or granite window sills, bespoke cabinetry and oak carpentry.

The well equipped kitchen/breakfast room is integrated with a range of appliances including a double oven, a microwave, an induction hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and filtered water tap. The adjoining conservatory is a beautifully light dining area with integrated laundry equipment, electric roof lights and French doors to the sun terrace which is the perfect spot for alfresco dining. The fabulous triple aspect sitting room really does have the "wow factor". Generously proportioned with a multi-fuel burner, oak double doors to the conservatory and oak bi-fold doors to the full width terrace and garden clearly is the heart of the home. Beyond the living accommodation there are two double bedrooms on the ground floor, one of which has built in storage as well as a family shower room and separate family bathroom and an additional bedroom which is currently used as a study.

A stunning oak and glazed staircase rises from the sitting room to the first floor which has underfloor heating throughout. The beautiful galleried landing with Velux roof lights leads to the stunning principal bedroom which features a walk-in dressing area and an ensuite shower room. French doors and a Juliet balcony provide the perfect spot to take in the views across the village. There is a further ensuite double bedroom on this floor which benefits from air conditioning.

In addition to the main accommodation, there is a wonderful detached studio annexe above the garage which mirrors the quality found in the main house and offers a fully equipped kitchen as well as a glazed balcony to take in the views.

      Gardens and Grounds
As with the house, the gardens and grounds at Viewlands do not disappoint. Largely enclosed by a stone wall, the rear has been beautifully landscaped and planted with a gravelled path to a rear gate providing convenient access onto the quiet lane. There is a fabulous sun terrace as well as a decked area while the surrounding planting gives a Mediterranean feel.

To the front, there is a full width terrace which leads to a lovely lawned area bordered by mature shrubs. There are numerous seating areas which really maximise the views over the village. As well as a generous double garage with electric up and over door, there is ample driveway parking for a number of cars.
