  • Buchanan Home Farmhouse has a prime position within the Buchanan Castle Estate on the southern edge of the village of Drymen. At one time the seat of the Duke of Montrose, the estate now forms a small exclusive community.

Within walking distance of the house is Buchanan Castle Golf Club which has a most impressive clubhouse and a challenging course. Across Loch Lomond is the world acclaimed Loch Lomond Golf Course, and in the same vicinity are the five-star Cameron House Hotel and the Carrick golf course, both of which are easily accessed by car in about 35 minutes from Drymen.
