  • Trenadlyn is a beautifully appointed house in a unique position surrounded by National Trust land and located adjacent to Glendurgan Gardens and very close to Trebah Gardens, two of the finest and most celebrated semi tropical gardens in Cornwall, above the Helford River in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Durgan Beach and the South West coastal path are only a short walk away. The Helford River is a large estuary renowned for its scenic beauty and marine ecology with hidden creeks, sheltered valleys and ancient oak forests. Historically the waterways were renowned as a haven for pirates which has inspired many writers, such as Daphne du Maurier and her Frenchman's Creek novel. There are deep-water moorings available in the river and a sailing club on the south bank, along with the famous Shipwrights pub with a pedestrian ferry between it and the highly regarded Ferryboat Inn on the north side. Water sports such as sailing, kayaking and paddle-boarding are available on the river, and for the golf enthusiast there is a nine hole golf course at the nearby Budock Vean Hotel.
