- are aged between 23 and 40. You can be over the age of 40 if you are acquiring an interest in the home with a first time buyer who is aged between 23 and 40.

- are a current or former member of Her Majesty's Armed Forces who was injured in service.

- have a gross combined household income that does not exceed £80,000.
