  • Barn Cottage is situated in the heart of the pretty and highly desirable coastal village of Slapton. Slapton Sands, a gorgeous 3 mile long beach is about half a mile and the village has a bustling community with a village shop, two pubs, an active village hall and a 13th century church. The National Nature Reserve at Slapton Ley, a Site of Special Scientific Interest is located on the edge of the village and is the largest freshwater lake in the south west of England. The South West coast path runs along the edge of the village and takes in some of the most spectacular scenery the region has to offer. The nearby towns of Dartmouth and Kingsbridge offer a diverse and wonderful range of shops, cafes, pubs, galleries and restaurants and both towns are home to secondary schools with regular bus links.
