    About this property

    • Nestled within the rolling Cotswold countryside with breathtaking views over the Cotswold Hills and escarpment, Middle Hill Farm is a quintessential country home in superb decorative order.

Originally forming part of a working farm, it has undergone an extensive program of modernisation, the pragmatic layout allows for comfortable and easy living, ideal for family life.

There is a wealth of character and charm, such features include magnificent fireplaces and attractive wooden floors and doors. The heart of the home is arguably the striking kitchen, fitted with a comprehensive range of high quality units. It benefits from a spacious dining area, perfect for social gatherings and entertaining. All principle rooms have the privilege of awe-inspiring and far reaching rural views.

The ground floor accommodation is wonderfully versatile, with the imposing double-height entrance hall opening to three well-proportioned reception rooms. In addition there is a conservatory, two utility rooms, a home office, kitchen with breakfast area and a cloakroom.

The first floor consists of four superb double bedrooms with en suite facilities, a fifth double bedroom and a very well appointed family bathroom.

      Outside
The house is situated along a shared and private lane and enjoys a very private setting. The large driveway sweeps to the front entrance and affords parking for several vehicles. The garden and land are a fabulous extension of the property, the front aspect is principally laid to lawn complimented by an array of mature trees, shrubs and plants.

The rear has an enviable choice of seating areas, all of which afford an idyllic place to rest and relax. Steps rise to an attractive landscaped area, which has been laid to very pretty herbaceous borders and flower beds. Beyond which is an area of lawn bounded by a picket fence.

The land and paddock sit to the rear of the garden and measure approximately six acres. A walk to the top of the paddock provide the most wonderful views, arguably one of the most striking in the Cotswold area.
