  • The Market Hill is a special location, in the centre of which stands the Shire Hall with its Dutch influence to the gables. There is a hotel, pub, restaurants and specialist independent retailers grouped around The Market Hill. The principal shopping area is in and around the Thoroughfare where national names trade alongside the other independent retailers. Woodbridge has very good facilities for its size including library, swimming pool, community hall, medical facilities, restaurants as well as a railway station which is located close to the river Deben, the town's natural focal point.
