    Shefford House
    Shefford House is a stunning Grade II listed Georgian property,
    approached through electric gates up a winding gravel tree lined drive, opening out in front of the house. The gardens and land stretch out behind the house rising in a south westerly direction. The arable land wraps around the gardens and parkland, separated by mature hedge rows and trees.

    At the front of the house there are stone steps up to the
    impressive entrance, flanked with doric columns. Inside
    the entrance hall, with stone floor, there are doors to all
    of the principal reception rooms, stairs to the first floor and
    lower ground floor, and a door to the inner hall which in turn
    leads to the kitchen/breakfast room, and orangery/sitting
    room, and further staircase down to the lower ground floor

    Of particular note are the period features, such as traditional cornicing and open fireplaces throughout the house which has been extensively refurbished during its current ownership. The drawing room spans the width of the house and is flooded with light from windows to two sides. There are two doors in from the entrance hall and an open fire.
